More than a bottle depot.

We're a locally run Northwest Calgary business, and this community is home. Sage Hill Bottle Depot opened in 2017.When we opened Sage Hill, we didn't want to build just another depot — we wanted to build a place people actually want to come to. A place you'd feel good bringing your kids to. A place that turns “ugh, I gotta return these” into “let's go.”

Recycling shouldn't feel like a burden. It's one of the easiest ways to do something good — for your pocket and for the planet — and we think that deserves a spot that treats you right.

Walk in and you'll notice it right away: we keep this place spotless. No mess, no smell, no chaos. Just a clean, organized, welcoming space where you get in, get sorted, and get on with your day.

But it doesn't stop there. We run community events, we know our regulars by name, and we're always looking for ways to give back to the neighbourhood that built us. We're not just processing your empties — we're part of the community, and we want it to feel that way every time you visit.

We've won the Trevor Nickel Award three times, for best bottle depot in Alberta.
